Organize the Unemployed

Why doesn't Working America facilitate organizing unemployed workers like back in the depression era? No dues maybe? These forums can help you feel you are not alone but I don't see solutions. If your single like me you get screwed on health insurance. We all know COBRA's a big rip off and way too expensive for people on unemployment. We need to rise up and not wait for politicians especially democrats who have stabbed working people in the backs time and time again.

I agree....Im in California, and you?Lets try to get a person in 1 thousand cities across America, on Saturday to stand , with a sign, unemployed or unemployed friendly, to demand work? Not one, non work placard! No environment, gay rights, animal rights, anti war....this is about work!!!!
